Dahlia Tuber Policies


Thank you for supporting our small farm! We are committed to providing you with high-quality dahlia tubers and ensuring your satisfaction. Please read our policies carefully before making a purchase.

Tuber Guarantee

We guarantee that each dahlia tuber you receive will:

  • Be true to the variety ordered

  • Have at least one visible eye

  • Be in healthy condition suitable for planting

Upon receiving your order, inspect your tubers immediately. If you have any concerns, contact us at helen@artemisflowerfarm.com within 5 days of delivery. After this period, we cannot accept responsibility for the quality or health of the tubers.

Please note, we are not responsible for issues arising from:

  • Adverse weather conditions

  • Pests or diseases

  • Improper storage or handling

  • Poor planting conditions or negligence

Mislabeling

While we strive for accuracy in labeling, occasional errors may occur. If a dahlia blooms and it's not the variety you ordered, please contact us with photos and your order details. We will work with you to determine if a replacement or refund is warranted.

Virus Policy

We regularly inspect our fields and cull suspect plants, and we implement strict sanitation practices to minimize the risk of viral infections. However, it's important to understand that:

  • Viruses can be present despite rigorous controls

  • They can be spread by insects and are not always detectable

  • We do not offer refunds or replacements for virus-related issues.

By purchasing our tubers, you acknowledge and accept this risk.

Shipping Information

  • Shipping Method: USPS Ground Advantage or UPS Ground.

  • Shipping Area: United States only, including Alaska & Hawaii.

  • Shipping Schedule: Tubers are shipped in April, between April 1st to April 30th. We do not offer early shipping. Orders are shipped in the order they were received.

  • Shipping Fees are based on weight. We charge only enough shipping to cover our costs with the carriers and for our shipping supplies. Shipping can be expensive if you have a large order, or if you are far away. Thank you for understanding!

Combined Shipping

If we are able to combine your orders into one box, we will do so and refund you a portion of the shipping cost; however, we cannot guarantee this will happen, and any combinations and refunds will happen at our discretion. Please do not email asking if we can combine orders.

Local Pick Up

Choose local pick-up at checkout to avoid shipping fees and pick up at our farm stand in west Longmont, Colorado.

  • You will receive the address and a notification for pick up when the tubers are ready.

  • Pick up begins the first week of March.

  • You must pick up your tubers by the first week of June.

Order Confirmation

Items in your cart are not reserved until the checkout process is complete and you receive an order confirmation email.

Substitutions

We do not offer substitutions. If a tuber becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, we will issue a refund for that item.

Cancellations

All sales are final. We do not accept cancellations or changes to orders once placed. However, we reserve the right to cancel and refund orders at our discretion during the quality check process.

Customer Conduct

We value respectful communication. Abusive or inappropriate behavior may result in order cancellation and a full refund.
