Hi! I’m so happy you're interested in our flowers

I’ve been growing and designing with flowers for over 12 years, and I know what it takes to create beautiful arrangements for any event, and how much fun and meaning it adds to your time together!

Our blooms are grown right here in Boulder from seeds, bulbs, and cuttings. We specialize in unusual and heirloom varieties with fascinating colors and intoxicating scents. We can (and do!) go out into the field to pick that special something that will make your flowers sparkle, and we often have a particular stem in the field in mind just for you.

We provide flowers for your big day using the best of what's growing in the field the week of your event in your color palette. We commit to transparent pricing, so you can create your own custom flower arrangements while staying in your budget.

How It Works

Please read through the 5 easy steps listed here, and let us know if any of your questions about our process are not answered.

Note: We are looking for clients committed to sustainability and local flowers. We offer on-farm pick up of your flowers, but we do not offer delivery.

  • Contact us to make sure your date is open. Read my letter above and the information on this page.

    Please note: we do not deliver flowers. You must pick up from the farm.

  • See our Pricing Menu above to help you budget for your flowers. Additionally, you can use our DIY Flower estimator tool. Within a week of receiving your order, you’ll get a line-itemized estimate based on the details you provided.

  • After approving your estimate, send a non-refundable deposit equal to 50% of the estimate and a signed copy of our contract to reserve your date. Your deposit is applied toward your final balance, so send it early to make sure you have a spot on the calendar, and don’t worry about changes you may make later. 

  • Six weeks before your event, I’ll get in touch to finalize your order. Additions, substitutions, and changes can be made at this time. Final payment is due 14 days before your event, and no reductions can be accommodated after that date.

  • We’ll have your beautiful locally-grown flowers ready for you to pick up at the farm on the date and time specified on your final order.

 DIY Flower FAQs

  • We are a seasonal flower farm! That means that all the flowers and greenery that go into your buckets are grown here, by hand, from seed, bulb, or cutting, starting months and years before your event. They are tended with care and grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Because we are a farm, we sometimes have crop failures, but we grow so many different kinds of flowers (over 100 species), that it's rare that we don't have a substitute for any particular color. Our event offering season runs from mid-May through early October.

    We favor wild and interesting flowers with depth, texture, and character, that showcase the incredible bounty of each season. We have access to rare and unique material that make your flowers truly special.

  • First, find out if we are available on your date. Just visit our Contact page. Also, check out our pricing.

    Then, we'll create a custom estimate for you based on your needs.

    To save the date, we ask for a 50% deposit on the initial estimate, with the balance due 14 days before your event. We also ask you to sign a simple contract.

    We will continue to refine your vision as your date gets closer, and finalize everything 4-6 weeks before the big day.

  • That all depends on the kinds and quantities of arrangements you want to make! Please use our instant estimator to help you figure out your needs, or email us with details.

  • We recommend picking up as close as possible to your event, while giving yourself and your helpers time to create your arrangements. Usually, this means picking up the morning before the event.

  • Make what your heart desires! DIY flowers are best for those who enjoy simplicity and are not trying to replicate any particular look or trend. If it works out before your event, we encourage you to attend one of our floral design workshops. Our DIY design kits give you all the right supplies for simple arrangements.

  • If you follow our care guidelines, your flowers will last a week or more. There is no need for special flower foods, preservatives, or refrigeration. Most of our customers are amazed by how long our flowers last compared to grocery store blooms.

  • Yes, you can rent our large selection of vases as part of your order.

    You’ll return our vases after your event, so plan to bring a large vase with you if you want to save or donate your flowers — this is a great way to keep excess waste out of your wedding!

    We will work with your day-of coordinator to help you with this aspect of your event.

  • No, we do not deliver at this time.

  • Changes are fine! Make any changes you need to your order up to 30 days before your event.
