Introduction
Candidates from minority or marginalized groups or with multicultural backgrounds or experience are especially encouraged to apply. Artemis Flower Farm is dedicated to the principles of equal employment opportunity.
Artemis Flower Farm is a specialty cut flower farm located at 8104 N 63rd St in Longmont. It is run by Helen Skiba and Nelson Esseveld, who are married. We farm at the Treehouse Farm Collective alongside Speedwell Farm & Gardens and other operations. We have been growing cut flowers for 10 seasons, and 2024 will be our 4th season at this property. We sell our flowers at farmers market, to the Colorado Flower Collective and local florists, to a small CSA, at our farm stand, at our on-farm workshops, and to wedding clients. We also sell dahlia tubers and fall bulbs. We currently farm on about 1.5 acres, with 3 caterpillar tunnels, but we will be expanding our operation in 2024 up to 3 acres along with managing the farm’s collective space.
